What BuzzRelay does not do
BuzzRelay cannot guarantee your number will not be banned, does not supply contacts, does not connect to the WhatsApp Business API, and cannot send while your computer is off. It does not run on macOS or Linux, cannot message people who have blocked you, and cannot recover a banned number. Knowing the boundaries up front avoids most disappointment.
It cannot guarantee your number stays safe
No tool can. WhatsApp's terms prohibit automated bulk messaging, and enforcement is driven mostly by how recipients react. BuzzRelay reduces the mechanical signals — randomised delays, typing simulation, daily limits, a number warmer — but it cannot stop someone hitting "Report" on a message they did not want.
Anyone selling you a WhatsApp sender with a no-ban guarantee is not being straight with you. See How to avoid a WhatsApp ban.
It does not supply contacts
BuzzRelay sends to lists you already have. It includes no contact database, no lead source and no lookup service, and we do not sell or recommend lists. The group extractor works only on groups your own account is already in, and even then returns numbers only for members your account can already resolve — see How to export contacts from a WhatsApp group.
It is not the WhatsApp Business API
No green tick, no official templates, no published sending tiers, no formal standing with Meta. BuzzRelay drives your ordinary account through WhatsApp Web. If you need the official channel, you need a Business Solution Provider — see WhatsApp Business API vs WhatsApp Web automation.
The application contains a placeholder for API support, but it is not implemented and is not available.
It cannot send while your PC is off
There is no cloud component. A campaign runs in a browser session on your machine, so the machine must be on, awake and online for the whole campaign. A scheduled campaign will not fire if the computer is asleep at that time.
This is why people run BuzzRelay on a Windows VPS. Also check your power settings — a PC that sleeps after 30 minutes will interrupt a two-hour campaign.
Windows only
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. No macOS build, no Linux build, no mobile app, no web version.
Things it genuinely cannot see or do
| Not possible | Why |
|---|---|
| Message someone who blocked you | WhatsApp prevents it; the send simply fails |
| Guarantee delivery | The recipient's phone may be off, or the number not on WhatsApp |
| Report opens or read receipts in campaign results | Campaign reporting records whether the send succeeded, not what happened afterwards |
| Recover a banned number | Appeals go to WhatsApp; we have no route in |
| Bypass the group-member privacy rule | WhatsApp does not send the numbers |
| Send from a number registered to the Business API | Such a number can no longer use the normal app |
| Hide who is sending | Messages come from your account, showing your number |
Things it will not do
Distinct from cannot — these are choices:
- We will not help you message a purchased list.
- We will not help you conceal sender identity.
- We will not help evade WhatsApp's spam detection on a cold list. The anti-ban settings exist to make legitimate sending look like what it is, not to disguise spam.
Automatic behaviour it does not have
Worth stating because people assume otherwise:
- A campaign does not spread across devices. One campaign, one device — you split the list yourself: Run multiple devices and spread volume.
- Editing a template does not update existing campaigns. Templates vs campaigns.
- There is no automatic opt-out handling. If someone replies STOP, you remove them yourself. Replies arrive in your normal WhatsApp and in Live Chat, but nothing acts on them for you.
- There is no automatic retry of failed recipients. You decide, and re-sending a partly-delivered sequence duplicates messages.
Why list all this? Because the gap between what people assume and what the product does is where refund requests and lost numbers come from. Everything above is in the product's favour to state plainly rather than let you discover mid-campaign.
Frequently asked questions
Can BuzzRelay guarantee my WhatsApp number will not be banned?
No, and no tool can. WhatsApp prohibits automated bulk messaging and enforcement is driven mainly by recipient reports. BuzzRelay reduces the mechanical signals of automation but cannot stop someone reporting a message they did not want.
Does BuzzRelay come with contacts or leads?
No. It sends to lists you already have. There is no contact database, no lead source and no lookup service, and we do not sell or recommend lists.
Can BuzzRelay send while my computer is switched off?
No. Campaigns run in a browser session on your machine, so it must be on, awake and online throughout. Check your power settings too — a PC that sleeps will interrupt a long campaign.
Does BuzzRelay handle opt-outs automatically?
No. Replies arrive in your normal WhatsApp and in Live Chat, but nothing acts on them for you. If someone asks to stop, you remove them from your contacts yourself.
